Chocolate Lucky Charms Treats

These treats are easy as 1, 2, 3...

You will need:
3 Tbsp. of butter
1 10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
6 1/2 cups of Chocolate Lucky Charms (almost a whole box)

 



Grease 9x13 dish
1. Melt butter in large saucepan, add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted
2. Remove from heat and stir in Lucky Charms
3. Press into greased dish, let them sit and cool for about 20 min, cut and enjoy!

St. Patrick's Day 2014

Happy belated  St. Patrick's Day!  This is such a happy spirited holiday...green beer, shamrocks, leprechauns and pots of gold..I mean come on..it's fun:) Memories from childhood include green milk and green pancakes!  SO it is no wonder I like this holiday so much, pancakes were involved!  This St. Patty's Day started with a green dinner and homemade Chocolate Lucky Charms Treats,  and ended with green beer and sibling fun.  Hopefully you had some Irish inspired fun yesterday!

Lately....Superbowl, Johnny is 30 and Valentine's Day

It is hard to believe that February is coming to an end and March is just around the corner!  This has been a fun and busy month around here! Super bowl, Johnny's 30th Birthday and Valentines Day on top of all the normal things like work and school and trying to be healthy during all of the celebrating we have done over the past few weeks.  Since I have been neglecting my little corner of the internet it is time to play catch up with some pictures:) I hope everyone is having a nice February! March is my birthday month so I must say I am not sad it is almost here:)

Alicia & Whitney's Baby Shower

It is no secret that I love baby showers:) There is always lots of adorable baby goodies, cupcakes or cake and in this case 2 beautiful mommies to be! Two of my close friends that I work with are having sweet bundles of joy very soon so we decided to throw them a work shower.  Whitney is due first and she is having a baby girl named Caroline and Alicia is only a few weeks behind with baby boy Grayson.  I had fun making a few handmade goodies for the shower and could not wait to celebrate such a happy time with them.  Congratulations Whitney & Alicia!!

Student mode..Engage

Monday began the start of my second semester of graduate school.  I am only taking one class at a time from here on out, so slowly but surely I will get there:) Last semester was definitely a test of myself to see if going back to school is truly the route I want to take.  I have decided to just take it class by class.  No pressure.  This outlook is what my life needs to be able to enjoy this journey.  I toyed with the idea of hurrying up this process but I quickly came to the decision that there is no need for me to rush this venture along and I might as well try to enjoy it!

2 weeks In

Here we are just shy of 2 weeks into 2014 and I must say...not too shabby, so far:)  This feeling may be in large part to being on vacation for the last 11 days (insert huge smile).  After all the hustle and bustle of the holidays it has been an absolute gift to just be able to get caught up on life!  I have been cleaning out closets, washing literally everything in this apartment, wasting time watching my latest Netflix obsession One Tree Hill (so lame I know), cooking, juicing, running, getting ready for school to start again, spending time with Johnny and catching up with friends!  I think I could get used to the whole not working thing:)  Lucky for me my job is so stinking awesome I actual don't mind being there.  How is your new year so far? 

 O yeah and hanging with this guy...

Welcome 2014!

Happy New Year!!  A brand new year always gives me a sense of a fresh start.  I really don't have any specific new years resolutions this year just a couple broad hopes for the future! 
Health and happiness:) 
Health-this is a reoccurring topic each year but a necessary one, more physical activity and less junk in my body, simple as that!
Happiness-hopefully this time next year Johnny and I will be settled in a house of our own..fingers crossed.
I brought in the new year with most of my favorite people and got to talk to the others who were elsewhere celebrating!  I hope you had a safe and fun New Year's Eve!
