Easy Homemade Granola

This morning I decided to make some homemade granola.  I did not want to get out to get ingredients so I just used what I had around here.  After skimming the Internet a bit and deciding if I could make what I had here work I decided to give it a whirl.  This only took me about 30 minutes total and the results was very satisfying:)  All of my ingredients are super simple and I bet you have most of them laying around too, so you should give this simple recipe a try!

You will need:
2 cups instant oats
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp canola oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/3 cup craisins

Ok lets get started...

Preheat your oven to 325
In small bowl mix honey, brown sugar, vanilla and oil together until smooth
In medium bowl mix your oats, salt and cinnamon together

Pour small bowl contents over dry ingredients and mix together with your hands until oats are coated
Pour granola contents onto a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 10 min
Remove from oven and flip granola, add slivered almonds to baking sheet, place back in the oven for 10 min
Once the granola mixture appears golden brown remove from oven and add craisins.

Now you are ready to enjoy!
 Happy Making!
Love, T
