All day today Burlington has been finding little spots where the sun is peeping through the blinds. He's pretty smart because I laid down next to him and it was considerably warmer and quite cozy. I may lay here and take a cat nap;) lazy kitty in 3,2,1...
Happy Day!

Tara is 24!
Saturday was my sweet seester's birthday! She is the ripe ol age of 24. Tara came up to Evansville to start the celebration on Friday. We started by grabbing drinks and dinner at Bar Louie. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. A couple people at work recommended it and they were right!
We finished the night up at Fox and Hound for margaritas and $5 LITs! It was nice to get out and celebrate with some of my favorite people :)
This is how I said..Good morning seester..Happy Birthday!! By hurling her gift unto her bright and early :)

It's really hard for me to wait to give Tara presents, so usually I don't, I just stream her presents out one at a time until they are all gone. In this case I found this adorable handmade ring at a little shop in Newburg that screamed Tara:)
I made her a scarf :)
On Saturday Tara journeyed back to Madisonville to hang out with friends to celebrate her birthday. Yesterday we all met back up at Mom and Dad's house for a birthday dinner, cake and presents I brought her banner to Mom and Dad's :)
Happy Birthday Tara!

My Kitty's Birthday;)
Today is Burlington's birthday! I'm not exactly sure when his "official" birthday is because we adopted him from a shelter when he was about a year old. I decided his birthday would be the day we gave him a new life;) Soo today he is 3 years old! He got a birthday dinner and a new toy;)

I love Bunting!
I think bunting is truly adorable. I've made a few bunting banners over the past couple of months and I am contemplating putting them in the shop at some point. My bunting Wall Art was pretty popular on etsy so I think the banners would be a hit as well. These sweet banners are great for any type of holiday or celebration!
Happy Saturday!

Peanut Butter Cookies Easy as 1,2,3!
These may possibly be the easiest cookies to make ever. After lunch today Johnny and I were wanting something sweet. Johnny said he wanted peanut butter cookies, sounded good to me and 20 min later...we had cookies!
Real healthy I know, ha! No maybe they aren't the healthiest but they sure are quick and easy. O yeah and more than likely you have these ingredients laying around at any given time.
Easy as 1,2,3 yes in deed, you will need..
1.Peanut butter: 1 cup
2.1 egg
3. Sugar: 1 cup
Preheat your oven to 350
Mix all 3 together in a bowl
Scoop onto baking sheet flatten with fork or choose a more festive way (shown below)
bake for about 10 min. enjoy!
I just used the pumpkin shape attachment from my cookie press kit to add some festivity
Happy Baking!

DIY: Yarn Wrapped Bangle
As I was cleaning the apartment yesterday my paper towels came to an end. I looked at the empty paper towel roll and thought, I bet I can make something out this. So I threw it in my sewing room only to revisit it hours later. Since I'm working nights the next 2 nights I was trying to stay up late and decided I would make some sort of bracelet from this, would have been, trash. So here is a step by step DIY on how to create something simple and cute from "trash."
You will need..empty paper towel roll, scissors, hot glue gun, yarn
Step 1: Cut a small slit in the middle of the paper towel roll
Step 2: Cut 2 small strips
Step 3: Glue the ends together to the desired circumference
Step 4: Cut off enough yarn to wrap entire bracelet and glue one end to the inside of the band
Step 5: Wrap away! Make sure there is no space between the yarn.
Step 6: Glue the end of the yarn to the inside of the bracelet
Step 7: Wear your new bangle!
