Sew Sweet

Since Johnny and I moved to Evansville and I have my own sewing room now it is so much easier to randomly work on projects.  The best part is being able to start a project and leave it half finished and not have to tuck it away in a box somewhere, now I just shut the door if I hate the mess:)  I thought I would share a few sweet little sewing projects I have worked on this month.

I made these polka dot pillow covers..

DIY: Quick Lets's make a Cardigan!

I love cardigans and if you do too this DIY is right for you! All you need is a sweater you are tired of, scissors, needle and thread, buttons and you are ready to go.



Step 1: Cut a straight line down the front of your sweater.

Step 2: Pick out about 5-7 buttons of your choice.

Step 3: Sew buttons down one side of sweater

Step 5: Sport your new cardigan!

Sewing Space

I finally have a sewing space! Living in an apartment can be a little difficult sometimes with the lack of space.  Johnny and I decided that there was enough room to make me a small sewing area.  Before this sweet little space I had my crafts strung everywhere and it was driving me crazy! So now I have a place to keep my stuff.  Maybe one day I will have a sewing room, BIG SMILE!!! Until than I have this...
