Got Bangs?

Every since I saw Zooey Deschanel with her gorgeous fringe bangs I immediately wanted bangs.  It took me a little while to get brave and cut such thick bangs but when I did I was super happy about it:)  Are you considering bangs?  If so I have a few ways I wear my bangs that I would like to share with you:)  These are all super straight forward and basic but nice to think about before you brave the bangs!
bangs.
angle them...
swoop them...
 pin them straight back or....
twist and pin to the side...
middle part and band them...
headband them..
now lets trim them...
grab bangs and twist..

now trim them...
now you have slightly shorter bangs:)
I have to trim mine lots between salon visits so it's nice to know this little trick!
Happy Bangs!
Love, T

Tara Tuesday: Hair DIY: Vintage Inspired Hair…

Hello again!! Today I am going to show you all how to create an adorable, vintage-inspired hair style. Not only is this hair-do pretty easy, but it is also a great way to use that awful “leftover hair”… You know? That hair you wake up with after sleeping on curls or waves. Haha. Anyway, this is one of my favorite looks for spring!! So, here we go…

As I said before, your hair should have some texture before you begin…

Next, you will need to separate the hair into sections. Five is ideal, but do whatever works best for your hair! Then you will make mini-ponytails out each section…

One by one, begin twisting buns out of each ponytail. Also, depending on your hair type, be sure to have plenty of bobby pins handy…

Continue doing that with each of the sections until you have no more twisting left :) Now you have yourself a cute and fun hair style that is perfect for just about everything!!

Oh, and thanks bunches to my sweet model, Tia!!

See you guys later!
Tara.

Tara Tuesday: Taking Chances with Color..

Well, the New Year is almost here and if you’re anything like me, you’re ready for a new you!! Some advice to my fellow “new beginners” would simply be… Take a chance :)  When I get bored of looking at my same ole’ hair in the mirror, I can’t help but feel the urge to change things up. Over the years my hair has been just about every color, brown, blonde, black, and even maroon… Yes, maroon. Haha. You would be surprised what a little change in color can do for your everyday outlook on life. Changing up your look will help keep you from slipping into a rut, and really just break the monotony from day to day. And if you’re worried you won’t like the new color, just remember, nothing is truly permanent. It can always be fixed!! Here’s a little taste of the range of colors my mop has endured throughout the years…

brown.

black.

maroon.
See, I told you I had maroon hair!!
light brown/dark blonde.

brownish red.

dark brown.

So, get a little bold and take a risk with your color! You won’t regret it!

See you guys later,
Tara.
